O&O ShutUp10++ is an advanced tool for customizing settings on Windows 10 and Windows 11. With just a click, you can enable or disable various system functions. The functions are grouped into categories such as Privacy, Activity History and Clipboard, App Privacy, Security, Edge, Office, Windows Settings Synchronization, Cortana, Location Services, User Behavior, Windows Update, Explorer, Defender, Lock Screen, and Miscellaneous. In the Privacy section, you can turn off ad ID, suggestions, biometric options, and data sharing with Microsoft. You can also prevent apps from accessing your camera, microphone, and tracking your activities. You can stop the logging of copied and pasted items in Activity History and Clipboard. In the Security category, you have the option to disable telemetry so that Microsoft cannot track your usage data. While it is possible to completely disable Windows Update if you prefer not to receive updates, it is not recommended as it leaves your computer vulnerable to security risks. Each option in the app comes with a detailed description and advice on whether it should be disabled. Additionally, you can create a backup of your system before making any changes.
